ABOUT US: Thank you for visiting our blog and looking at
our beautiful puppies. We are a small town family who fell in love with
golden's and decided to become hobby breeders. We only have one mated
pair, Riley and Bella, and only plan to have one mated pair at any given
time. With that said, because we only have the one pair, we will only
breed Bella after she has passed two heat cycles. This could potentially
produce one litter a year. It is gratifying and rewarding to meet so
many new people and provide them with the sweetest possible life
companion. We recently received a request from an individual who was
checking in because she had been referred to us by one of our happy
owners. Truly, there is no greater reward, no greater compliment, than
to have an owner tell a friend to look into one of our puppies.
JACK: Jack
is everyone's dream dog. A big teddy bear, gentle soul, eyes so deep
and wise. Patient, kind, affectionate, active, forever a puppy, a girl's
best friend. My husband and I adopted Jack in December of 2002 from a
family in Kennewick, Washington. Steve, won't admit it, but he was
reluctant to drive over an hour to get a free Golden Retriever mix. But,
I luckily won him over and we hurried to Kennewick to snatch him up
before anyone else had the opportunity. It was a dark, chilly, misty
evening, we loaded up the truck with our lab Ava, made the trip to the
outskirts of Kennewick. We were greeted in the owners gravel drive by a
few meandering horses, much to Ava's discomfort. Got out of the truck,
walked up to the door, and was greeted by a beautiful dark Golden
Retriever momma, who looked ready for her babies to move on. Not a bark,
a flick of an ear, just a kiss on the hand and a wag of a tale. SHE WAS
BEAUTIFUL and oh so sweet. Her owner explained that her beautiful girl
was a purebred golden who tangled with one of two neighbor males and
resulted in the litter she didn't want do deal with- hence the steep
asking price of FREE. She explained the potential fathers, we all
laughed immediately guessing which one, dare I say, got lucky. Option
one: a large purebred male Collie. Option two: a pit bull mix. We walked
into her dining room and there nestled in a large refrigerator box were
10 of the cutest, FLUFFIEST puppies I had ever seen. Jack was in the
middle of his sleeping siblings, on his back, just as large and content
as could be. Immediately I knew which puppy would become our forever
friend. Jack had been the EASIEST dog to train: no rolled up newspapers,
no swats on the nose- simply a sad voice was enough to make him cower.
He learned SO FAST and it was positively amazing how rewarding it was
being his owner. Don't get me wrong, Jack is still with us, 11 years
old, becoming slightly arthritic, but still the ever playful puppy. He
and my oldest daughter are best friends. She can literally do anything
to him. Dress him up, cover him up and read him a bedtime story, file is
"nails", and ride him like a horse- yes, you read that correctly. Jack
has grown into a long legged, long nosed, fluffy, too much hair for his
own good, tale wagging weapon of mass destruction, and best friend to
everyone he has met. First, Jack's sweet momma, who I will never forget,
and soon there after, Jack himself, helped us fall in love with Golden
Retrievers. Yeah, yeah, there is some Collie in there, and from my
understanding Collies are also amazing dogs, but our decision to breed
Golden's has been fully introduced to us by our amazing boy. What we
will do when he passes, I have no idea. Be crushed. Be devastated. Be
heart broken. Be honored to have had him for the years we did. Jack has
forever changed our lives.

"
He
is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his
life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the
last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such
devotion". -Anonymous

Puppies are AKC purebred Golden Retrievers and will be eligible for AKC registration at the new owners expense. Please go to
American Kennel Club for more information about registration.
Puppies
will have first shots/deworming and be vet checked. Also sent with each
